Samuel Oluolamide, a graduate of Aerospace Engineering at Lagos State University (LASU), has emerged as the university’s overall best graduating student for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Oluolamide distinguished himself with an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.97, placing him at the top among the graduating students.
Ahead of LASU’s convocation ceremony scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the outstanding graduate was honoured at the university’s pre-convocation activities on Monday.
As part of the recognition for his exceptional academic performance, Oluolamide received a ₦10 million cash prize, presented to him through a dummy cheque at the event.
The award highlights the university’s recognition of academic excellence and the remarkable achievement of the Aerospace Engineering graduate.
Oluolamide’s achievement has also drawn attention to the importance of academic dedication, discipline and excellence among Nigerian university students.
