President Bola Tinubu on Thursday received Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja for a closed-door meeting.
Adeleke arrived at the Villa at about 5:25 p.m., dressed in a navy-blue traditional outfit and carrying a walking stick. He arrived in a black Toyota Land Cruiser alongside National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
The meeting is Adeleke’s first known engagement with President Tinubu since his victory in the August 15 Osun governorship election, where he secured re-election for a second term.
Reports also indicate that Adeleke presented his Certificate of Return to the President during the visit following his re-election.
The details of the discussions between the President and the governor were not immediately disclosed.
