Bass FM is set to expand its radio operations to the Ijebu-Ode axis of Ogun State, with Ilese-Ijebu emerging as the proposed location for the new station.
The radio brand is owned by Olawseun Ekundayo-Salawu, popularly known as DJ Bassman, who is also behind Bass 99.3 FM Osogbo.
Bass FM had previously indicated that Ijebu-Ode would be its next destination as the brand continues its expansion across the South-West.
The development has generated excitement among residents and media enthusiasts in Ilese-Ijebu and the wider Ijebu-Ode community, particularly following a recent update suggesting that “Bass FM Ijebu Ode” is finally loading.
According to information gathered, Ilese-Ijebu is expected to host the station, further strengthening the area’s growing reputation as a media hub.
However, the station’s official frequency, exact studio address and confirmed launch date have not yet been publicly announced.
If launched, Bass FM will become another notable voice in the Ijebu-Ode media landscape, joining other radio stations already serving the area.
More details are expected as preparations for the station’s commencement of operations continue.
